About
Aleyna Dogan is a writer and strategist working at the intersection of philosophy and emerging technology. Her first book is forthcoming from Putnam & Smith in August 2026. She writes about what new technologies are doing to attention, agency, and the ordinary texture of a considered life — and what we can do once we've noticed.
She is part of the team at Nâra Kitap, an Istanbul-based literary publisher devoted to translated literature, where she leads strategy and operations. Her work there is built around the same question her writing keeps returning to: how ideas reach readers in a culture that's increasingly distracted by everything else.
Aleyna studied at NYU Gallatin, where she built an interdisciplinary degree across philosophy, psychology, technology ethics, and environmental science. She is currently pursuing a master's in Philosophy and Economics at the University of Vienna. Her peer-reviewed work and essays have appeared across publications.
She is born in Istanbul, lived in New York, and Los Angeles for eight years, and she is now based in Vienna. She speaks English, Turkish, and French fluently. For writing, speaking, and consulting inquiries, get in touch.
